Speak and be free is a personal reminder to speak out, letting go of unnecessary inhibitions, a therapist’s couch. It is a place where the eloquence of the heart can never find expression yet must speak out to find fulfilment.
Maybe once in a while there will be a nugget or two of brilliance, a gem of wisdom here and there, but more often it will be filled with the miner’s anthem of paradise lost. It is always hopeful in its mournfulness.
Still, its genesis was full of goodness. And will always be that way.
